Edward Micklethwait - born 1819. 1871 census shows him born at Wakefield - of Barnsley, Yorkshire, England; architect & surveyor; emigrated to Australia with his family - sailed from London to Sydney N. S. W. in the ship "Commonwealth" arriving 27th December 1857. Later emigrated to Canada. Back in Barnsley England at the time of the 1871 census. Died in England between 1871 & 1887
